Job Description

Doggy Daycare Duties
  • Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Engage in playtime activities with dogs, including interactive games and exercise
  • Provide basic grooming services such as brushing and nail trimming
  • Assist with training exercises and reinforce positive behaviors
  • Send daily picture and Updates to owners of their pet(s).
  • Clean and maintain the daycare facility, including sanitizing surfaces and cleaning up after accidents
  • Monitor dog behavior and intervene if necessary to prevent conflicts or aggression Qualifications
  • Previous experience in pet care, such as working at a dog daycare, veterinary clinic, or animal shelter
  • Knowledge of dog behavior and body language
  • Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
  • Basic understanding of animal health and wellness, including recognizing signs of illness or distress
  • Good with cell phone use for typing and sending/ taking photos
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) throughout the day
