Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and enriching environment for dogs attending daycare and boarding services. The ideal candidate is passionate about animal care, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently manage groups of dogs while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Key Responsibilities Animal Care & Supervision Monitor and supervise group play sessions to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs. Assess dog behavior and intervene appropriately to prevent conflicts or unsafe situations. Follow established playgroup assignments based on size, temperament, and activity level. Provide individualized attention, enrichment activities, and positive reinforcement. Monitor dogs for signs of illness, injury, stress, or behavioral concerns and report findings to management. Administer medications as directed and document treatments accurately. Facility Maintenance & Sanitation Maintain a clean and sanitary facility by following established cleaning and disinfection protocols. Clean play yards, kennels, suites, feeding areas, and common spaces throughout the day. Wash bedding, toys, bowls, and other equipment as needed. Ensure all cleaning and safety standards are consistently met. Customer Service Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner. Assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Communicate daycare updates, behavioral observations, and concerns to pet owners when appropriate. Address client questions and direct concerns to management as needed. Daily Operations Feed dogs according to owner instructions and facility protocols. Assist with boarding, grooming, and enrichment services as needed. Maintain accurate records regarding attendance, feeding schedules, medications, and incidents. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and animal handling guidelines. Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth facility performance. Qualifications Previous animal care, kennel, veterinary, or daycare experience is
REQUIRED.
Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Ability to recognize basic canine body language and behavior. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced situations. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout an entire shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Schedule:
Full-time and Part-time opportunities available, including weekends and holidays.

Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
