This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working hands-on with dogs, is looking for an opportunity to grow in the field, and enjoys helping both dogs and their owners succeed through structured, impactful training. Responsibilities Conduct individual training sessions tailored to each dog's needs, behavior, and skill level. Lead and supervise small group training and play sessions, carefully selecting compatible dogs and monitoring interactions at all times. Assess canine behavior and make safe, informed handling and training decisions. Follow an established training curriculum while customizing training plans for individual dogs. Communicate effectively with owners, providing guidance on how to carry training over into the home environment. Document training videos, notes, and progress updates. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment while upholding the training center's standards, values, and protocols. Handle dogs safely and confidently, including large, strong, and high-energy dogs. Qualifications & Experience Prior hands-on experience working with dogs (animal rescue/shelters, daycare/boarding, grooming, vet clinics, pet sitting, dog walking, or similar environments). Dog training experience preferred but not required—we provide training for the right candidate. Strong understanding of canine body language and behavior, or a desire to learn. Comfortable managing multiple dogs in both one-on-one and small group settings. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely manage large or strong dogs. Adaptable, creative, and able to think critically when working through training challenges. Strong communication and customer service skills. Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented. Pay:

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week
