Summary We are seeking a Kennel Technician to join our team at Tuscarora's Country Club for Dogs. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily care of our canine guests, ensuring their comfort and safety while contributing to their overall well-being. Your passion for animals will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our facility. Responsibilities Provide daily care for dogs and cats, including feeding, bathing, and exercising. Monitor the health and behavior of pets in the kennel, reporting any concerns to management. Engage with pets through playtime and other activities to promote their well-being. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kennel area and suites. Engage with pet owners to provide updates on their pets' well-being. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during playtimes and interactions. Ensure proper animal restraint techniques are used during handling and bathing. Qualifications Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners. Knowledge of basic animal behavior and training techniques is a plus. Compassionate attitude towards animals with a commitment to their welfare. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling large dogs or equipment. Must be 18+ in age. Must be available to work holidays and weekend shifts.
