Professional Puppy TrainerAbout Recherche Kennels Recherche Kennels is a premier puppy training and development facility specializing in the raising, training, and placement of exceptionally well-trained puppies. Our state-of-the-art campus is situated on a large, scenic property surrounded by beautiful woodland landscapes, providing an ideal environment for dogs to learn, grow, and thrive. Our facility is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team of more than 30 professionals who are passionate about canine development. What Our Clients Expect Our clients expect their puppies to arrive: Potty trained Crate trained Socialized in a variety of environments Equipped with foundational obedience skills, including: Sit Stay Down Come Loose-leash walking Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Professional Puppy Trainer to work with puppies ranging from 6 weeks to 12 months of age. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, professional, and capable of developing puppies through our structured training program while maintaining exceptional communication with clients. ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development Train puppies and young dogs in foundational obedience and household manners Implement our proven puppy training curriculum Evaluate and track puppy progress Maintain training consistency across multiple puppies Client Communication Create and record weekly progress videos for puppy owners Conduct puppy pickup and transition training sessions with clients Communicate training progress clearly and professionally Occasionally assist with client emails and phone inquiries Deliveries & Travel Travel as needed to deliver puppies via company vehicle or airline transportation Represent the company professionally during client interactions and deliveries Team Collaboration Work closely with kennel staff, trainers, and management Contribute to a positive, solutions-focused workplace culture Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and respect toward coworkers QualificationsRequired Previous professional dog training experience and/or accredited education in dog training Ability to train puppies and young dogs from 6 weeks of age and older Strong understanding of obedience training fundamentals Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and strong punctuality Ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Characteristics Passion for puppy development and training Strong work ethic and attention to detail Coachable and willing to learn our specific training methodology Comfortable appearing on camera and communicating with clients Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to confidently interact with high-level clientele Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities Work Schedule Tuesday through Saturday 8-hour shifts Flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM Typical end time between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM Compensation & Benefits We believe great trainers deserve exceptional compensation and opportunities for long-term career growth.
