Job Description
Job Summary We are a small family run facility focusing on the individual care of dogs. Hill Top provides 22 suites for our dog boarders. There is no group play or open day care allowing us to focus on the highest level of care for the dogs that stay with us. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dog Boarding Attendant to provide exceptional care and supervision for dogs in our boarding facility. In this role, you will ensure that each dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining a clean, organized environment. Your enthusiasm for animal care and strong communication skills will help create a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to dogs staying in our boarding facility, including feeding, administering medications, and monitoring health status Engage dogs in positive socialization, playtime, and basic activities. Handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint techniques to prevent injury or stress Maintain cleanliness of kennels, common areas, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment Observe and document each dog's behavior, health changes, or concerns, communicating with management as needed Offer excellent customer service by addressing pet owners' questions and providing updates on their pets' stay Qualifications Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or kennel work is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a strong asset Strong animal handling skills with an understanding of animal restraint and care protocols Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members A genuine passion for animal welfare and customer service excellence Join our team to help create a safe, joyful environment where dogs thrive!
