Keeping kennels, cages, runs, and common areas clean, disinfected, and up to Training Director's hygiene standards is a core, daily responsibility of this role. A clean facility is essential to animal health and is something this position is directly accountable for. Provide pet care services including feeding, bathing, and walking dogs in all weather and ensuring their comfort during their stay. Maintain accurate records of pet care activities, medication logs, and treatment notes. Monitor animals daily for signs of illness or stress and report concerns promptly. Assist trainers when needed. Requirements A commitment to maintaining a consistently clean, sanitary kennel environment and the diligence to uphold those standards every shift. Prior kennel experience or background in animal husbandry is highly preferred. Ability to handle animals safely and confidently. Strong communication skills for collaborating effectively with the team. Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and handle animals, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift. Schedule This position requires availability on evenings and weekends . Animals need care every day, no matter the weather or holidays, so dependable attendance during these hours is essential. What We're Looking For Genuine comfort working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and handle active animals in all stages of training Strong reliability, attention to detail, and a good attitude in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow care protocols and work well as part of a team Prior animal care experience is a plus but not required: we'll train the right candidate Room to Grow While this is a kennel technician position, we like to promote from within! Technicians who show strong handling skills, dependability, and a real interest in dog behavior may have the opportunity to move into a trainer role over time.

Pay:
