We offer daycare, boarding, and grooming, and we take pride in creating a space where both dogs and staff thrive. We're looking for a strong, reliable Assistant Manager for our PM shift —someone who can lead a team, handle the fast pace, and keep standards high through the busiest part of the day.
Schedule:
Primarily afternoon/evening shifts (approx. 12pm-8pm or 1pm-9pm) Weekend availability required
What You'll Do:
Lead and supervise PM staff during busy daycare and boarding operations Ensure safe dog handling, group play management, and overall facility flow Manage closing procedures and ensure the facility is clean, secure, and organized Handle client communication, questions, and occasional conflict resolution Step in wherever needed—this is a hands-on leadership role Support training and accountability of team members Maintain a calm, confident presence in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
What We're Looking For:
Prior leadership or management experience (pet care industry a big plus) Strong decision-making skills and ability to take ownership Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Physically active—this role involves being on your feet, lifting, and moving Reliable, consistent, and not afraid to hold a team accountable Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
Bonus If You Have:
Experience in dog daycare, boarding, vet clinics, or grooming environments Knowledge of dog behavior and group play dynamics
