Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dog Boarding and Daycare Attendant, where your passion for animals and dedication to exceptional pet care will shine! Responsibilities Supervise and monitor dogs during boarding and daycare sessions, ensuring their safety and happiness at all times Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior and social skills Handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint techniques, ensuring comfort and security Provide basic pet grooming, including brushing, bathing, and cleaning to maintain hygiene standards Offer pet sitting services by feeding, administering medication if needed, and engaging in playtime activities Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and equipment to uphold health standards Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' behavior, health status, and special needs Support veterinary technicians or assistants when necessary by assisting with animal handling or basic veterinary care tasks Qualifications Previous experience in dog handling, kennel work, or animal care is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a plus Familiarity with pet grooming, pet sitting, or veterinary assistant roles enhances your suitability Strong customer service skills to confidently interact with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with large dogs Animal handling skills including restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff Passion for animal welfare combined with a proactive attitude to create a welcoming environment Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for animals makes a real difference!
