Job Description

Kennel Technician - Join the Groove at The Groovy Pet Company! Formerly Hillview Bed & Biscuit — now under NEW ownership with exciting upgrades and big plans ahead! Shift Hours Morning:
6:00 AM - 12:00
PM Evening:
5:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Weekend and holiday availability is required) What You'll Be Doing Your days will be hands-on, active, and full of wagging tails and happy purrs. As a Kennel Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping our pets safe, healthy, and feeling loved. Start and end the day by feeding and administering medications to boarding dogs and cats Walk, monitor, and care for dogs in our kennel to ensure comfort, cleanliness, and safety Perform thorough, physically demanding deep cleaning of kennels and pet areas to maintain a clean, healthy environment Provide quality one-on-one enrichment time with pets signed up for extra attention and TLC Supervise safe socialization for dogs in daycare and boarding, reading dog behavior and stepping in when needed Care for our boarding cats by feeding, medicating, and cleaning cat spaces Assist with grooming care, including bathing dogs prior to pick-up Keep a close eye on pets throughout the day and communicate concerns to leadership to ensure the highest level of care What We're Looking For A genuine love for animals (dogs and cats!)
