The ideal candidate is a natural leader who enjoys working with dogs and people, maintains a safe and positive environment, and provides exceptional customer service to pet owners. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the daycare facility. Supervise, train, and schedule daycare staff. Monitor dog behavior and ensure safe, appropriate group play. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary facility. Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding their dogs' care and behavior. Handle customer concerns with professionalism and compassion. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and vaccination policies. Assist with admissions, evaluations, and temperament testing for new dogs. Support business growth by promoting excellent customer experiences. Qualifications Previous experience managing a dog daycare, boarding facility, veterinary clinic, or similar pet care business preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of canine behavior, body language, and group play management. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed. Preferred Skills Pet First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
