  • We celebrate successes, support each other, and have fun while doing meaningful work What You'll Do As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you'll be the heart of our operation, ensuring every furry friend receives top-notch care and attention:
Supervise & Engage :
Monitor playgroups to ensure safe, positive interactions and intervene when necessary
Provide Excellent Care :
Feed, water, and attend to the basic needs of our four-legged guests
Maintain Safety & Cleanliness :
Keep play areas, kennels, and facilities clean, sanitized, and hazard-free Communicate with
Pet Parents :
Provide updates and build relationships with clients
Behavioral Observation :
Monitor dog behavior and body language, documenting any concerns or incidents
Enrichment Activities :
Lead games, training exercises, and activities that keep dogs mentally and physically stimulated
Team Collaboration :
Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service
Facility Maintenance :
Help with general upkeep of our facility
What We're Looking For/ Required Qualifications:
Age Requirement :
Must be at least 18 years old
Physical Ability :
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and remain on your feet for extended periods
Availability :
Flexible schedule including some weekends, holidays, and early mornings or evenings Passion for
Dogs :
Genuine love for animals and commitment to their wellbeing
Communication Skills :
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Team Player :
Collaborative spirit and positive attitude
Reliable Transportation :
Ability to commute to our West Chester location reliably
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with dogs (daycare, kennel, veterinary clinic, grooming, training, or shelter) Knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and safe handling techniques Pet First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience managing multiple dogs simultaneously Customer service experience What Makes You Stand Out We're looking for someone who: Stays calm under pressure and can think quickly on their feet Has keen observational skills and attention to detail Shows initiative and takes pride in their work Communicates openly and honestly with team members Brings positive energy and enthusiasm to work every day Demonstrates patience, compassion, and respect for all animals Physical Requirements This position requires: Standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments in various weather conditions Comfort working around noise (barking), dog hair, and odors Manual dexterity for handling leashes, cleaning equipment, and other tools Visual and auditory acuity to monitor dog behavior and safety
