Duties Design and deliver customized dog training programs using positive reinforcement techniques to address behavioral issues and enhance obedience Conduct one-on-one training sessions, group classes, and workshops for dogs of all breeds and ages Assess each dog's temperament, behavior, and training needs to develop effective training plans Educate pet owners on proper handling, feeding, grooming, and ongoing care to ensure long-term success Demonstrate safe dog handling and restraint techniques during training sessions and daily interactions Maintain detailed records of training progress, client interactions, and behavioral observations Support pet care activities such as feeding, grooming, or assisting with veterinary procedures when needed Skills Proven experience in dog training with a solid understanding of positive reinforcement methods Veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely manage dogs of various sizes and temperaments Knowledge of animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during training and care activities Experience with pet grooming, pet sitting, or kennel management is a plus Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling supplies or assisting with larger animals Familiarity with veterinary procedures related to animal behavior or care is advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey where your expertise transforms lives—both canine and human—by fostering well-behaved pets through compassionate training.
