Van Driver / Dog Handler Good Dog Pet Ranch - 5.0 Amarillo, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $14 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Pet care Van driver Companion animal handling Customer service In-person customer service High school diploma or GED Transportation setting housekeeping Dog handling Passenger van operation Google Calendar Retail sales Dog care Animal restraint Full Job Description Responsible, timely driver needed to transport dogs to and from dog boarding/day care/training facility. Candidate must have an excellent driver's record, strong customer service skills, and a love for dogs. The ability to perform tasks on time is essential to this position.
Availability required:
Weekday mornings, 6:15 am - 10am. Shifts are assigned depending on need and availability - and additional hours of work at the facility may be available depending on candidate. Requirements for the job are as follows: Be able to lift at least 50 pounds as the job requires lifting of some dogs and equipment Feel comfortable handling multiple dogs at a time on a leash Have the ability to step up into van repeatedly Be able to climb stairs Have the ability to adhere to a strict schedule and use google calendar Be able to thoroughly clean the interior of the van To meet our insurance carrier's requirements, female candidates must be age 21 or older, and male candidates must be age 25 or older. Candidates will be required to pass a background check. We are a friendly, growing business with an exceptional facility and clientele.
