Job description: Kennel Technician Kennel Technician, $14-$15 The Texas Dogfather specializes in training and behavioral boarding. Our beautiful 11 acres property provides a place for dogs of all temperaments to learn, play, and rest. We are a company that values Peace of Mind for the dogs, the customers, and the staff. We are looking for an experienced Caregiver who wants to make a difference in the lives of all dogs, regardless of temperament. From well-behaved dogs to ones with fear, trauma, or anxiety, we are a team that cares for all.

Kennel Tech Expectations:

A fast learner who can work independently Reliable and able to manage time well Must be able to work weekends and holidays Must be comfortable working outside Must be comfortable around dogs with varying temperaments Must be able to communicate clearly and in a timely manner with staff and management Has strong empathy Makes the right choice even when no one is watching. Emphasis on being a team player

Responsibilities:

Cleaning and maintenance of dog rooms, bowls, and kitchen Feeding and monitoring dogs Laundering and keeping track of pet belongings Assisting other staff with play times, cleaning, or training Occasional bathing if necessary Observe and report well-being of dogs Chart feeding, meds and any changes for each dog on property
