Canine Portrait Assistant Part-Time | Saturdays | David Stiff Photography Job Overview Do dogs naturally trust you, and do people enjoy being around you? David Stiff Photography is seeking a part-time Canine Portrait Assistant who genuinely loves both people and dogs and enjoys being part of a professional, luxury portrait experience. For more than 40 years, David Stiff Photography has created award-winning fine art portraits of dogs, families, children, and high school seniors. We are looking for someone who takes pride in helping create an exceptional client experience while ensuring every dog feels comfortable, confident, and safe during their portrait session. Photography experience is not required . We will provide training in our studio methods, dog handling techniques for portrait sessions, and our client experience standards. What You'll Do During Portrait Sessions Assist with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Help nervous dogs feel comfortable and confident. Gain dogs' attention during portraits. Assist with posing and positioning dogs. Help energetic dogs settle and focus. Assist senior dogs with patience and care. Help create a relaxed, enjoyable experience for every client. Assist with family, children, and senior portrait sessions when needed. Studio Support Prepare and organize portrait areas. Assist with set changes and studio preparation. Welcome clients and help them feel comfortable. Maintain a clean, organized studio environment. Assist with administrative and organizational tasks as needed. Experience Required Professional, volunteer, or extensive hands-on experience working with dogs is required.
