Position:
The Groomer is an integral position at Scenthound, offering expert grooming knowledge, providing leadership to a team of groomers and bathers, and facilitating training.
This position requires:
At least 1 year of grooming experience or graduating from a grooming school Knowledge of dog breeds, care, standards, and tools of the trade. Strength to lift up to 70 lbs; stamina to stand for long periods of time Reliable transportation Weekend availability Tasks Groom to Scenthound standards while providing guidance and mentorship to the bathing teams. All we do are sanitary cuts and puppy cuts; one length all over with a neat face. Create an environment conductive to learning, open communication, and team work. Identify when/where help is needed and provide assistance to keep Scenter on schedule. Ensure the safety of dogs and team at all times. Adhere to the Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager or Lead Groomer.
