The role combines customer service, animal welfare knowledge, and behavioral assessment. Common Responsibilities Process adoption applications and contracts on the computer Monitor animal behavior and temperament Promote adoptable pets through events and social media Maintain adoption records and follow-up communication Help reduce pet returns by ensuring appropriate placements Key Skills Great customer service skills Must be outgoing and smile Compassion for animals and people Conflict resolution and counseling abilities Knowledge of animal behavior and care Organizational and administrative skills Must be able to work EVERY Wednesday-Sunday from 10:30am-6:30pm. Must have own transportation and be willing to transport dogs and cats in your vehicle. Must be able to foster dogs in your home overnight, as needs arise.
