Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for dogs in our care. You will interact with the dogs throughout the day, ensuring their well-being and happiness while maintaining a clean and organized facility. Ideal candidates will have experience in animal handling and a love for dogs, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Duties Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including regular cleaning of kennels and play spaces. Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management. Assist with feeding, administering medication, and providing basic grooming as needed. Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Assist in training dogs in basic commands and socialization skills. Perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving large bags of dog food or cleaning equipment. Experience Candidates should possess one or more of the following skills or experiences: Dog training experience Veterinary experience (technician or assistant) Pet grooming knowledge Pet sitting experience Kennel experience Strong animal handling skills, including restraint techniques Customer service experience If you are enthusiastic about animal care and looking to make a positive impact on the lives of dogs and their owners, we encourage you to apply for the Dog Daycare Attendant position.
