Part-time | 4 to 5 shifts 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Weekend work required About Us We are a dedicated breeding and training program committed to raising healthy, well-socialized puppies with excellence and care. Our team values responsibility, compassion, and a strong work ethic, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for animals and professional breeding practices. Position Overview We are seeking a part-time Kennel Technician to join our team. This role includes hands-on kennel and dog care. The ideal candidate will already have training and experience in animal care and kennel work, though we are willing to provide additional training for the right person. Key Responsibilities Provide daily care and cleaning for dogs and puppies at the kennel and training center Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kennel and training environment Monitor the health, behavior, and well-being of all dogs, reporting any concerns to management Assist with record keeping, scheduling, and other kennel operations as needed Drive dogs to and from appointments as needed, must be able to use your own transportation for this (miles are reimbursed) Must Be Willing to Learn All aspects of canine reproduction, including: Artificial Insemination (AI) Semen collection and evaluation Progesterone testing and ovulation timing Ultrasound for pregnancy detection Whelping support and neonatal puppy care Puppy Culture protocols to ensure proper early development and socialization Professional quality puppy photography Qualifications Comfortable with cleaning, kennel maintenance, and hands-on animal care Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to work Monday through Sunday, 8 AM-4 PM Benefits Training provided in specialized areas if needed Opportunity to work in a positive, professional, animal-focused environment Hands-on experience in advanced canine reproduction and puppy development
