Now Hiring:
Dog Handler - Country Boarding Retreat for Dogs Do you love dogs and the outdoors? We're an independently owned, upscale dog boarding facility nestled in the countryside, offering a peaceful, spacious environment for dogs to relax and play. We're looking for an experienced dog handler to join our dedicated team. This position requires availability for the following shifts: Saturdays 7am-2pm Sundays 7am-3pm Mondays 7am -3pm Thursdays 7:30am-3:30pm Availability on holidays and when extra help is needed About the
Job:
You'll work hands-on with dogs of all breeds and temperaments—providing excellent care, companionship, and structure.
Responsibilities include:
Interacting with and supervising boarding dogs Cleaning kennel spaces and feeding dogs Providing excellent customer service Using our computer-based reservation system Helping each dog feel safe, calm, and at home Light hiking and outdoor enrichment
About You:
Confident, kind, and patient with dogs of all temperaments Reliable, observant, and detail-oriented Comfortable working outdoors in a country setting Friendly and professional with clients Must enjoy both humans and canines Experienced in working with dogs (required) Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays (required) Must be at least 18 years old
