About Us Sabali Dog Training & Boarding is a growing dog training and boarding company dedicated to helping dogs and their owners build lasting relationships through structure, consistency, and clear communication. We are looking for a motivated, dependable individual who loves dogs and is excited to become part of a systems-driven team. Position Summary The Lead Dog Trainer & Kennel Technician plays a key role in both our boarding and training operations. This position combines hands-on kennel care with in-home mobile dog training services. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments, enjoys working with pet owners, and can follow established procedures consistently. ResponsibilitiesKennel & Boarding Operations Perform daily health checks on boarding dogs Feed, exercise, and provide enrichment activities Clean and sanitize kennels and common areas Monitor dog behavior and report health concerns Maintain accurate records and incident reports Capture photos and videos for client updates Follow all safety and emergency protocols Mobile Dog Training Conduct in-home dog training sessions Teach obedience commands and behavior modification techniques Follow Sabali's established training curriculum Coach pet owners on proper training techniques Document progress and provide session notes Record training content for client updates and social media QualificationsRequired Genuine love for dogs and animal welfare Comfortable handling dogs up to 100 lbs+ Reliable transportation Smartphone capable of recording video Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and follow established systems Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and clean throughout the day Preferred Previous dog training experience Experience in a kennel, veterinary, daycare, or pet care setting Familiarity with training tools such as slip leads, prong collars, and e-collars Experience working with reactive or aggressive dogs
