Job Description

Unleashed Dog Camp provides kennel free dog day care and boarding for active, fun loving dogs. We are hiring a full or part time van driver/dog handler for our West Seattle Van Route. Responsibilities include picking dogs up from their homes in a company van, driving them to camp in Renton, walking around with them in a large wooded area and bringing them home at the end of the day. You will also communicate with clients regarding their dog's behavior, any changes in scheduling and take fun photos of your group. Van Drivers start and end their day in West Seattle and work from 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday. This position could be 3 days or 5 days per week depending on applicant's availability. We are committed to offering the highest quality care by having well trained staff, behavior evaluations for every new dog, low dog to staff ratios (max 15 dogs per handler) and plenty of indoor and outdoor space where dogs can have fun. If you love dogs, are exceptionally reliable and love the outdoors, this is the job for you! Applicants must be able walk outdoors on grass and dirt for 2-3 hours per day with groups of 10-15 off leash dogs. Teamwork, attention to detail, flexibility, independent thinking and problem solving as well as an enjoyment of a fast paced work environment are also essential. After the initial interview, a paid working interview and background check will be conducted for all potential applicants.
