Wrangler Seattle Canine Club - 3.0 Seattle, WA Job Details Part-time $21.30 - $22.00 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Customer service Pet grooming Dog handling Cleaning Animal welfare Full Job Description About the Role We're looking for an energetic, reliable Dog Wrangler to join our team and help create a safe, fun, and enriching environment for the dogs in our care. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and perfect for someone who loves dogs and thrives in an active workplace. Key Responsibilities Supervise group play and maintain a safe, positive environment for all dogs Monitor dog behavior, body language, and play styles to prevent escalation Perform safe dog handling, including leash management, crate rotation, and controlled introductions Clean and sanitize playrooms, kennels, and common areas following facility protocols Assist with feeding, medication (as directed), and individualized care routines Communicate clearly with team members about dog behavior, incidents, and daily updates Provide excellent customer service during drop‑off and pick‑up Support grooming or bathing tasks as needed (training provided) Qualifications Experience working with dogs (daycare, shelter, training, or personal experience) preferred Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work on your feet for extended periods Comfortable managing groups of dogs of varying sizes, breeds, and temperaments Strong communication skills and a calm, confident presence around animals Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety protocols consistently Must be at least 18 years old What We Offer Hands‑on training in dog behavior and safe handling A supportive, team‑oriented work environment Opportunities for growth in daycare operations, training, or grooming Employee discounts on services Competitive hourly pay based on experience Ideal Candidate You're someone who loves dogs, stays cool under pressure, and enjoys a job where no two days look the same.
