Kennel Technician

About Us:

Mountain Laurel Kennels is a busy dog boarding facility dedicated to providing exceptional care for our clients and their pets. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who are passionate about dogs and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, runs, yards, and common areas Feeding and watering dogs according to individual instructions Monitoring dogs for health, safety, and behavior concerns Walking, exercising, and providing enrichment activities for dogs Assisting with check-ins and check-outs Maintaining a clean and organized facility Communicating effectively with coworkers and management Following all kennel procedures and safety protocols

Qualifications:

Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed Previous animal care experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate
