Responsibilities Provide professional hair styling, cutting, and coloring services tailored to each client's preferences. Perform nail care treatments including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail applications, nail extensions, and pedicures with precision and care. Follow salon safety protocols by maintaining sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and proper equipment sterilization to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Engage with clients through effective communication to understand their needs, recommend suitable services or retail products, and upsell where appropriate. Stay updated on industry trends in color theory, nail art techniques, and new beauty treatments to provide innovative solutions. Requirements Valid cosmetology license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority. Proven experience working in the beauty industry. Knowledge of salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client hygiene practices. Skilled in color theory application for hair coloring and/or creative nail designs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Strong retail sales skills with an understanding for upselling products confidently.
