The awardwinning Forbes 4Star and AAA 5Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Hair Stylist to join the Team! Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laidback vibe and fun, active lifestyle. The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and inroom dining.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this role is $19.00 per hour plus commission and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Want to learn more? As a Hair Stylist, you would be responsible for providing professional hair care and treatments to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Perform hair care services including, but not limited to, cutting, styling, coloring, highlighting, updos, permanent waves and straightening Provide accurate information about salon products Utilize, maintain and conduct inventory of supplies and products Maintain cleanliness of work area Maintain records as required by federal, state, local and company regulations Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner Perform general Spa duties, as needed What are we looking for?
