As a Barber, you will perform a variety of haircutting and grooming services while building long-term relationships with clients. You'll work alongside a supportive team in a well-established barbershop that values professionalism, teamwork, and continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced barbers and motivated professionals looking to grow their clientele. Responsibilities Provide high-quality men's, and children's haircuts tailored to each client's preferences . Perform beard trims, lineups, straight razor shaves, hot towel services, and other grooming treatments. Deliver consistent, outstanding customer service while creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for every client . Build and maintain a loyal clientele through professionalism, reliability, and exceptional service. Educate clients on hair care, styling techniques, and grooming products . Recommend and sell professional grooming products, earning 10% commission on all personal retail product sales. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation in accordance with California State Board regulations . Properly disinfect tools and equipment between every client. Manage appointments and client records using the shop's booking software while accommodating walk-in guests when appropriate . Arrive on time, maintain a professional appearance, and contribute to a positive team environment. Stay current with industry trends, haircut techniques, fades, tapers, beard styling, and modern grooming services. Qualifications Current California Barber License. Strong proficiency in fades, tapers, shear cutting, beard grooming, and modern men's hairstyles. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude. Ability to build and retain a loyal client base while also servicing walk-in customers . Knowledge of proper sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail .
