We're seeking a licensed stylist who is passionate about hair, client experience, and building their own clientele in a supportive and professional salon environment. Each Stylist is independent, and rents out a salon chair for either a part time : Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, or fulltime position; Sunday's are exempt. This is a booth rental/ independent contractor opportunity, perfect for stylists who want the freedom of running their own business, while working in a beautiful, established salon. Responsibilities Provide professional, high-quality hair styling services (cuts, colors, styling, perms, treatments, etc.) . Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations. Deliver exceptional customer service to ALL salon guests. Demonstrate effective communication skills to build connection with clients and team members. Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations. Manage own bookings, scheduling, and pricing. (Optional; may also be done by receptionist if preferred) Build and maintain clientele. Experience A valid cosmetology or barbering license is required. Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Knowledge of color theory and various hair care techniques is essential. Experience in retail sales and understanding of retail math will be beneficial. Strong communication and customer service skills. Professional, reliable, and self - motivated.
