Responsibilities Perform a wide range of beauty services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, and nail care treatments. Deliver professional hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and hair threading services to meet diverse client needs. Conduct esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, body waxing, and eyelash extensions to enhance clients' natural beauty. Apply color theory principles to create customized nail art and hair coloring solutions that align with client preferences. Follow salon safety protocols and sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals, provide expert recommendations, and upsell retail products or additional services. Maintain thorough knowledge of disinfection procedures and salon safety standards to uphold the highest level of sanitation. Assist in retail sales by promoting skincare products, hair care items, and other beauty essentials to enhance client results and salon revenue. Qualifications Valid cosmetology license or certification with proven experience working in the beauty industry. Proficiency in nail techniques such as acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and nail care. Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation practices, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols. Experience with hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their beauty goals. Demonstrated ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
