Full Job Description The Position:

Part-Time stylist needed in busy hair salon in West Roseville. We are looking for a stylist with weekend availability and a standard schedule Friday - Sunday.

About Sterling Shears:

Sterling Shears is a small, family-owned and operated business with a mission to provide high-quality service with a high-end feel at a budget-friendly price. Sterling Shears is a quick stop salon and focuses on haircuts for men, women, and children.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current California Cosmetology License required. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience cutting hair; samples and in-person style test required. Experience with men, women, and children. Experience with fades preferred.

Friendly, self-confident, and at ease with customers and colleagues. Punctual, dependable, and responsible. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Sound judgment and decision-making ability. Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

Sterling Shears stylists start at $18.00 per hour plus tips (average of $8.00-$12.00 per hour) at a very busy salon with built-in clients. Benefits include paid vacation, sick time and holidays.
