Responsibilities Perform professional hair services including haircuts, styling, blowouts, silk presses, coloring, highlights, balayage, color corrections, and chemical treatments. Consult with clients to understand their goals and recommend services and products that best fit their hair type and lifestyle. Deliver exceptional customer service that encourages repeat business and client referrals. Educate clients on at-home hair care, maintenance, and retail products. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation while following all state board sanitation and safety regulations. Build and retain a loyal clientele through outstanding service and professionalism. Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and continuing education opportunities. Assist with salon promotions by creating social media content, taking before-and-after photos, and engaging with potential clients online. Accurately manage appointments and client records using salon booking software. Work collaboratively with the salon team to create a positive, welcoming atmosphere. Meet individual service and retail sales goals while maintaining high-quality service standards. Participate in salon meetings, education classes, and special events as needed. Qualifications Current Colorado Cosmetology License in good standing. Strong knowledge of haircutting, coloring, styling, and chemical services. Experience with extensions, textured hair, braiding, wigs, makeup, lashes, waxing, or barbering is a plus but not required. Excellent communication and consultation skills. Professional appearance with a positive, friendly attitude. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Passion for continuing education and staying current with beauty trends. Experience using salon scheduling software is preferred. Active social media presence or willingness to market services online is a plus.
