Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed cosmetologist or someone dual licensed with barbering to join our team full-time!

THIS IS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITION.

• contractor is responsible for their own insurance as well as paying their own taxes.
• A Barber License is preferred.

This role is ideal for a cosmetologist who has a strong background in men's grooming and wants to build their career in a barbershop setting alongside a team of women professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Perform precision men's haircuts, fades, shaves, and styling services
• Provide excellent customer service and build long-term client relationships
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
• Stay current on barbering techniques, styles, and trends
• Contribute to a collaborative and positive team atmosphere

Requirements:

• Active Colorado Cosmetology License (required)
• Barber License (preferred) or willingness to complete crossover within 6 months
• 1-2 years of experience in men's grooming (cuts, fades, beard trims, shaves, etc.)
• Ability to work weekends and occasional closing shifts (shop is open 7 days a week)
• Strong technical skills and passion for barbering
• Professional, reliable, and motivated to succeed Compensation & Benefits
• Commission-based pay with a 60/40 split (stylist keeps 60%) on all services performed
