They are not only passionate about their craft but also stay at the forefront of industry trends. Our stylists actively promote retail products, prioritize pre-booking clients, and confidently seek referrals, contributing to the growth of our salon. Responsibilities Maintain an active Cosmetology license to ensure compliance with industry standards. Participate in and proactively prepare for all required training sessions to stay current with evolving techniques and trends. Achieve monthly sales goals for both services and retail, contributing to the overall success of the salon. Effectively communicate with clients, coworkers, and management to foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Educate clients on proper hair care and styling techniques, empowering them to maintain and enhance their looks. Stay up-to-date and continuously train on the latest hair and product trends to offer cutting-edge services. Provide an excellent client experience, consistently delivering remarkable customer service to build client loyalty. Suggest add-on services and recommend retail products to all clients, enhancing their overall salon experience. Actively seek client referrals to expand our clientele and contribute to the salon's growth. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote your work on Instagram, showcasing your skills and attracting new clients. Participate in events and Open Houses to connect with potential clients and promote the salon's services. Maintain an effective, clean, and organized work environment, ensuring a professional and inviting atmosphere. Uphold the salon's high standards of cleanliness and professionalism to create a positive impression on clients. Create a safe and welcoming space for all, fostering a comfortable environment for both clients and team members. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in professional hair styling and coloring techniques Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation practices, and current hair trends Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and deliver personalized consultations confidently Experience with retail sales strategies including upselling products like styling tools or hair care items
