Duties Provide high-quality hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to clients' preferences. Utilize knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for various hair types. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on hair care and styling options. Upsell additional services and products that enhance the client experience and meet their beauty goals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, makeup application, and nail care to offer clients contemporary options. Perform makeup application services as needed, enhancing overall client satisfaction. Demonstrate proficiency in barbering techniques, including straight razor shaving when applicable. Requirements Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in hair styling and color application. Excellent communication skills with an ability to connect with clients and understand their desires. Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to creating positive experiences for every client. Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar scheduling software is preferred but not required. Knowledge of nail care techniques is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. A valid cosmetology license is required; additional certifications in makeup application or barbering are advantageous.
