Position Summary The Cosmetologist provides services such cutting hair and cutting nails of elderly patients with chronic illnesses in order to prevent complications from unkempt nails, skin and hair. Advises patients on proper hygiene and care of the skin, nails and hair. Plays a vital role in prevention of skin and nail infections. Essential Job Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Cut, trim, and shape hair, based on customers' instructions and medical needs. Identifies patients with unusual skin lesions or pigmentations and notifies the patient's healthcare provider.
