La Colonia Wellness Center está buscando una Cosmetóloga para incrementar el ánimo de nuestros pacientes al elevar su imagen y de sí mismos. La Cosmetóloga será responsable de los tratamientos de peinado, coloración, champú y acondicionamiento y del cuidado de las uñas.
DEBERES Y RESPONSABILIDADES
Las responsabilidades incluyen, pero no se limitan a: Colaborar con el Supervisor del Centro de Bienestar en la planificación y programación de los servicios. Lavar, acondicionar y teñir el cabello con aplicador o brocha. Cortar y peinar el cabello según las instrucciones de los pacientes. Recomendar estilo y servicios basados en las necesidades y el estilo de los pacientes. Seguir los estándares establecidos de seguridad y limpieza, manteniendo el equipo adecuadamente desinfectado y las áreas de tratamiento limpias y presentables en todo momento. Limpiar, cortar, moldear y pintar las uñas. Recomendar colores y formas de uñas según el estilo de cada paciente. Realizar otras tareas que le sean asignadas.
CALIFICACIONES
Diploma de escuela secundaria o su equivalente. Licencia de cosmetología. Al menos seis meses de experiencia. Competencia en el uso del equipo de salón necesario para realizar trabajos técnicos. Capacidad para realizar todas las tareas laborales, como levantar, doblar y torcer repetidamente, y permanecer de pie durante un largo período de tiempo. Debe ser fluido en inglés/español hablado y escrito. Excelente comunicación verbal e interpersonal para brindar una experiencia agradable al paciente.

POSITION SUMMARY
La Colonia Wellness Center is seeking a Cosmetologist to enhance the lives of our patients by elevating their self-image. The Cosmetologist will be responsible for hair styling, coloring, shampoo and conditioning treatments and nail care.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Collaborate with Wellness Center Supervisor in the planning and scheduling of services. Shampoo, condition and color hair using applicator or brush. Cut, trim and style hair based on patients' instructions. Recommend style and services based on the patients' needs and style. Follow established standards for safety and cleanliness, keeping equipment properly sanitized and hair and treatment areas clean and presentable at all times. Clean, cut, shape and paint nails. Recommend colors and nail shape based on each patient's style. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Cosmetology License. At least six months experience of related experience. Proficiency with use of salon equipment needed to perform technical work. Ability to perform all job duties including lift, repeatedly bend and twist, and standing for long period of time. Must be fluent in spoken and written English/Spanish. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication to deliver a pleasant patient experience.
