Job Description
Overview Join our team as an Independent contractor Stylist/Barber for our sweet Assisted Living, Independent and Memory Care residents. In this role, you will will provide expert hair styling, coloring, and grooming services that leave clients feeling confident and refreshed. Your passion for beauty, combined with your excellent customer service skills, will help create a welcoming environment where clients return time and again. Enjoy an established, in-house clientele in a professional, upscale senior living community. You will job share with another Independent contractor Stylist/Barber and typically the hours are 8am - 5:00pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday but there is flexibility as you will be creating your own schedule. Must have your own insurance and current cosmetology license. Experience working with Seniors is a plus. Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, with precision and artistry Conduct consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments based on hair type and face shape Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, stations, and work areas according to health regulations Schedule your own appointments. Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, personalized service, and follow-up care. Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styles and techniques Expertise in barbering services such as straight razor shaves and traditional grooming styles Familiarity with sanitation standards and cosmetology licensing requirements Excellent communication skills for client consultations Join us if you're passionate about transforming looks and creating memorable client experiences!
