Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Barbering/Cosmetology Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the field and a desire to educate and inspire the next generation of professionals. This role involves teaching various aspects of Barbering/cosmetology professions, while fostering a positive learning environment for adult students. Responsibilities Utilize our engaging lesson plans that cover all aspects of barbering/cosmetology.. Educate students on current trends and techniques in the beauty industry while ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to enhance students' practical skills. Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey. Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love for the beauty profession. Stay updated with industry advancements. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and ensure compliance with state regulations. Qualifications Valid barber/cosmetology license with extensive knowledge in the practical applications in the field. Previous teaching or adult education experience is preferred but not required; strong communication skills are essential. ( We will train the right candidate) Three years in salon experience.
