You will provide expert hair styling, coloring, and grooming services while delivering outstanding customer service in a vibrant salon environment. Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, color, styling, extensions, and hair treatments using current techniques and trends Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments based on hair type and face shape Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards according to state regulations and salon policies Use salon software such as

MINDBODY

to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions Assist clients with retail product recommendations and upselling to enhance their salon experience Stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and products through continuous education and mentoring opportunities Support front desk duties by greeting clients, managing appointments, and ensuring a smooth salon flow Qualifications Valid Cosmetology or Barbering license in accordance with state requirements Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading is a plus Proficiency in salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation practices, and hair styling techniques including straight razor cutting Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients Ability to perform retail sales effectively through upselling and product knowledge Willingness to learn new skills like retail math for sales optimization and store management fundamentals Join us to unleash your creative potential in a supportive environment that values your talent!
