This position promises an opportunity for a seasoned stylist to advance in their career. Our hair department is once again becoming very busy after experiencing the shift due to Covid. We feel many clients were visiting stylists in their homes and in small, private suites. In the last 9 to 12 months our phones have been consistent with clients looking for a new salon to call home and a new regular stylist. We currently have 8 stylists at different stages in their career and are in need of adding more to accommodate our client interest. Newer stylists, and people just entering the industry require additional training and mentorship until they master their craft. This position will offer you a department to run, manage and grow, utilizing your earned experience. The perfect candidate should have the following:
- 8 to 10 years of in-salon hands-on experience
- Comfort in performing all categories of hair styling, coloring and cutting
- An established clientele where you can benefit from the help of an apprentice, and in turn they can benefit from exposure and guidance (regular teaching opportunities)
- A love of teaching and mentoring
- A desire for advancement and growth
