Role:
The Cosmetology Teacher in Nicholasville plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of beauty professionals by delivering comprehensive education in cosmetology theory and practical skills. This position involves designing and implementing curriculum that meets state licensing requirements while fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. The teacher will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for successful careers in the cosmetology industry. Additionally, the role requires staying current with industry trends and techniques to ensure that instruction remains relevant and effective. Ultimately, the Cosmetology Teacher contributes to the professional development of students, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to excel in their field.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid state cosmetology instructor license or certification as required by the state of Kentucky. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse student populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with curriculum development and instructional design.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver lesson plans covering cosmetology theory, practical techniques, safety protocols, and state regulations. Collaborate with school administration to align curriculum with accreditation standards and industry requirements.
