Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Provide barbering and hair styling services to clients, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired hairstyle or grooming preferences
• Utilize straight razors and other tools to achieve precise and clean cuts
• Stay up-to-date on current trends and techniques in barbering and hair styling
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and checking in/out clients
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction
• Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and recommend appropriate products for their needs
• Actively participate in retail sales to promote salon products

Qualifications:

• Valid barbering or cosmetology license in the state of Louisiana
• Proficiency in barbering techniques, including the use of straight razors
• Strong knowledge of hair styling, cutting, and coloring techniques
• Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar salon management software is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients
