Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client looks. Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by adhering to proper sanitation protocols for tools and workstations. Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail upselling to boost client satisfaction and salon revenue. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide consultations on color theory or barbering techniques, and ensure a positive experience. Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styling techniques. Certification in Cosmetology or Barbering from an accredited program; additional certifications in hair coloring, hair threading, eyelash extensions, or makeup are advantageous. Strong understanding of hair care products, retail math for upselling opportunities, and retail sales strategies. Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide outstanding customer service. Rental booth or commission offered.
