Hair Stylist TCBeauty LLC Bethesda, MD Job Details Part-time $25 - $65 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Cosmetology License In-person customer service Mid-level Seeing clients as a makeup artist Seeing clients in a personal beauty role Special event hair styling Full Job Description Overview Join our vibrant team as a Hair Stylist and unleash your creativity while delivering exceptional beauty experiences for brides! In this energetic role, you will craft stunning hairstyles for wedding parties and ensure every client leaves feeling confident and beautiful. Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair styling (updos, blowouts, Hollywood curls, and half-ups) Must be available on the weekends for weddings and special events. Be available one or two weekdays for bridal trials. Conduct consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable treatments or styles We are looking for a hairstylist, but it's a huge plus if you do makeup as well. Must have reliable transportation. Qualifications Valid cosmetology license or years of experience working in the bridal beauty industry Strong knowledge of hair care practices and current styling trends Experience with makeup application is preferred but not required Must be available every Saturday and Sunday in October (those are our blackout dates). Position is hourly AND per person. The hourly base rate is how much you'll receive for being on the job and per person is based on the number of services you perform. Our events are 3 to 8 hours (based on group size). Compensation is $35/hr to $65/hr based on experience. You also receive a fee of $25 for each person you service.
