Head Spa Specialist

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Head Spa Specialist to provide exceptional scalp and hair wellness treatments inspired by traditional Japanese head spa techniques. This role focuses on delivering a deeply relaxing, results-driven experience that promotes scalp health, hair growth, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Japanese-style head spa treatments, including scalp analysis, cleansing, exfoliation, massage, and hydration therapies Deliver therapeutic scalp massages that promote relaxation, circulation, and stress relief Customize treatments based on each client's scalp condition and hair needs Educate clients on scalp care, hair health, and recommended at-home maintenance Maintain a clean, sanitary, and tranquil treatment environment at all times Prepare treatment stations, products, and tools before and after each service Recommend and upsell retail products and add-on services when appropriate Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage retention and repeat visits Follow all state board regulations, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:

Active Cosmetology or Esthetician License (required) Experience in scalp treatments, hair care, or spa services preferred Strong understanding of scalp health and hair care fundamentals Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to create a calm, luxury experience for every client Willingness to learn and master Japanese head spa techniques (training may be provided)

Preferred Skills:

Sales experience in recommending professional hair care products

Work Environment:
