Duties Greet clients warmly and assist with their check-in process at the front desk using salon software such as

MINDBODY.

Perform professional shampooing and conditioning treatments, applying knowledge of hair extensions and hair threading techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by properly sanitizing tools, stations, and work areas in compliance with health regulations. Support stylists with hair styling tasks, including blow-drying and applying basic makeup or nail care services when needed. Assist with retail sales by upselling hair care products, retail math calculations, and promoting additional services like eyelash extensions or nail care treatments. Manage appointment scheduling and client flow efficiently using salon management software to optimize store operations. Contribute to a positive team environment through mentoring new team members and communicating effectively with colleagues and clients. Skills Knowledge of hair extensions, color theory, and hair styling techniques to assist stylists effectively. Familiarity with salon software systems such as

for appointment booking and client management. Strong communication skills to engage confidently with clients and team members. Experience or interest in barbering, cosmetology, or barbering certifications is a plus. Ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for all clients. Basic retail sales skills combined with upselling techniques to enhance client experience and revenue. Proficiency in retail math for product recommendations and transaction processing. Skills in eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, or hair threading are desirable but not required. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters client loyalty.
