Your expertise in pet coat styling, handling, and care will help build lasting relationships with clients and contribute to our vibrant pet community. Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, styling, and pet nail trimming with precision and care. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety during grooming procedures. Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide professional advice on pet coat care. Manage animal handling tasks confidently, including heavy lifting of larger breeds and maintaining calm environments during grooming sessions. Apply knowledge of dog training, veterinary experience, or veterinary technician skills to handle pets with special needs or behavioral challenges. Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold health standards and ensure a hygienic environment. Assist with pet sitting or related animal care duties as needed to support overall pet wellness and owner satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in dog grooming Strong dog handling skills and familiarity with animal restraint techniques. Knowledge of animal handling across various species including dogs and cats (cats not required) Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners about grooming needs and animal care. Ability to perform pet nail trimming, bathing, brushing, and styling efficiently and compassionately.
