is seeking a full-time experienced Senior Living Hairstylist that is dynamic, organized and a self-starter to join our team at Brookhaven Manor Senior Living located in Ann Arbor, MI . General Summary Under general supervision, the Senior Living Hairstylist is responsible for managing the beauty shop and to provide all aspects of cosmetology to the residents. Essential Job Functions Manage the daily operations including staffing, scheduling of appointments and ordering of supplies Provide cosmetology services including treatment to hair and nails Assist residents in and out of chair Communicate with residents to ensure customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of shop in accordance with federal, state and local regulations Minimum Job Qualifications Must be Licenses by the State Board of Cosmetology Must possess excellent communication skills Possess ability to work with a wide range of residents Must be neat and clean in appearance Must be dependable and reliable Must have one year experience in hair care industry Preferred Job Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Experience working with Senior Citizens Valid Cosmetology License Working Conditions General senior citizen apartment community May be required to stand for prolonged periods of time At FOURMIDABLE and Brookhaven Manor Senior Living, we encourage a "can do" attitude as well as a pleasant and professional demeanor.
