Job Summary We are seeking an ambitious and fully motivated Commission Hairstylist to join our salon team! In this role, you will leverage your expertise in haircolor, haircuts, and professional creativity to create stunning looks tailored to each client's unique style. As a commission-based stylist, your passion for beauty and commitment to exceptional customer service will drive your success. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills in hair extensions, color correcting, blonding, precision haircuts, men's cuts, and so much more! We also have a full bridal team and offer both hair and makeup. Responsibilities Provide professional hair styling, coloring, cutting, and finishing services to clients using techniques such as hair extensions, balayage, highlights, and precision cuts. Consult with clients and ensure they are fully comfortable and understand their desired look and recommend suitable hair care products or retail items to support their needs. Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by adhering to salon sanitation protocols and safety guidelines. Manage client appointments efficiently using salon policy and ensure smooth front desk operations and client flow is easy. Upsell retail products and additional services through excellent client communication and personalized recommendations. Skills Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hair styling, coloring, and salon services. Proficiency with scheduling and client management. Expertise in hair care treatments including hair extensions, coloring techniques, and haircutting. Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Strong communication skills for effective client consultation and consistency with our salon culture. Ability to manage retail math for product recommendations and teaching goals. Experience with makeup application, eyelash extensions, nail care, and store management is a plus.
